CLIENT SPOTLIGHT:

When she mentioned her site felt outdated, a closer look revealed broken links, missing images, and a homepage slideshow that didn’t work. She also shared that the photos on her About page didn’t feel like her.

“My hair looks frizzy and my smile looks fake. It doesn’t look like me.”

Because her site was already built in WordPress, I created a full visual mockup in Canva before rebuilding the site from the ground up, keeping her existing logo intact. Because the logo had some pretty intense colors, I created a palette that complimented the logo without trying to overpower it.

For the photography, we started with headshots at my studio (yes, I even guided her on what colors to wear) so everything aligned with her site. The following day, she arranged for a patient to serve as our model at her office so we could capture authentic, behind-the-scenes moments. Because acupuncture can feel intimidating for some people, it was important to me that Lundi’s space came across as calm, welcoming and comfortable.

To complete the refresh, I updated her Google Business profile and integrated subtle AI-generated nature illustrations where seasonal photography wasn’t possible (it was winter and below zero in Michigan). 🙂

The entire project was completed in about four days, resulting in a website and visual presence that finally felt aligned with her practice.
